Tramar Lacel Daillard
Tramar Lacel, also known by his stage
name Flo Rida (American rapper singer and songwriter), is a Carol City,
Florida-based artist, composer, and songwriter. The single from 2008
"Low" made it to the top of the charts for 10 consecutive weeks across
the United States. It also broke the record for digital download sales at the
time. The debut album of Flo Rida called 2008's Mail on Sunday, reached fourth
in the US. R.O.O.T.S. succeeded the album in the year 2008. The albums that
followed, 2010's Only One Flo (Part 1) and 2012's Wild Ones also charted on US
Billboard 200. Flo Rida's sales worldwide of over 80 million albums have made
him one the most successful music artists. His catalogue includes top-selling
songs "Right Round", "Club Can't Handle Me", "Good
Feeling", "Wild Ones", "Whistle", "I Cry",
"G.D.F.R. " as well as "My Home". Mail on Sunday, Flo
Rida's debut album was released in March of 2008. The track "Low"
featuring T-Pain was the album's first single. It also appeared in the
soundtrack of Step Up 2: The Streets. "Low" was ranked No.
"Low" was the No. 1. on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.
"Elevator" which features Timbaland, "In the Ayer"
featuring will.i.am as well as "Roll" featuring Sean Kingston,
charted on the Hot 100, as well as other charts. Alongside T-Pain the track
featured many other performers throughout Mail on Sunday. Timbaland appears on
the track too. He was the producer of the second single, "Elevator".
Rick Ross, and Trey Songz appeared on the track as well. Lil Wayne appeared on
the track "American Superstar" as did Sean Kingston appeared on the
J. R. Rotem-produced "Roll", which was written by Compton rapper
Spitfiya. Birdman, Brisco, as and Yung Jock are some of the other guest
performers. "Money Right" is a duet with Brisco as well as Rick Ross,
was scheduled to be the fourth single, however, it was pulled because of the
release of Flo Rida's second studio album, R.O.O.T.S. His second collaboration
with T-Pain "I Bet", as well as his collaboration with Trina which
was titled "Bout It" Both tracks did not make the final track list
however they were recorded.
