Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November, 1985, in Los Angeles. The father of her Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley and the mother of her child Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix's athletic talent was evident from the moment she started attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. Only 10 weeks after her first attempt, she finished 2nd in the 200 meters in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix graduated from her high school education and was signed to an agreement for Adidas. In the year 2004, she enrolled in her first year at the University of Southern California, in the area of elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece. Felix ran 200m in 22.18s and set an all-time junior world record. The 2005 Helsinki World Championships saw her become the youngest woman to take home the 200 meters race. In 2007 she defended the title by beating her Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix was consistently in the top third of each event she competed in at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
